Meet the team

Melissa Cracknell

I discovered pole fitness in 2010 and instantly fell in love with the sport.

I had been trying to find a fun way to keep fit, something that kept me interested and it wasn't long before I started going twice a week, I couldn't get enough. I can honestly say it changed my life. I have never been so fit, toned and healthy.

It has helped me change my mind as well as my body. I feel more mentally positive, driven, confident and focused and feel so lucky to be able to share my knowledge and skills with others.

I started teaching in April 2012, my student base has grown quickly, but I am not surprised how popular it has become! I see the excitement in peoples faces after their first class and really love to watch them progress and improve, in strength, ability and confidence through their dedication and hard work. It is a great feeling for me, I really do love my job!

We are always striving to better ourselves and the studio to meet the needs and wants of our students and feel confident we do a good job! The future of Pole Nouveau is exciting and I look forward to continuing sharing everything I know about Pole with anyone who wants to give it try. The only regret I have is not starting it sooner!!

Come and join me and my team of instructors and amazing students and see for yourself what all the fuss is about!!

Nicola Mason

I've been hooked on pole fitness since I started in February 2013. It has changed my life in many ways. Not only am I strong and physically fit from it I'm also mentally more motivated, confident and healthier.

I don't and have hardly ever done any other fitness and get bored of sport easily but pole fitness is addictive and noticeably beneficial.
I learnt quickly and moved up the ranks to now being an instructor.

I want others to experience the europhic feeling you get when you nail a move and other students and the instructor give you amazing praise. The studio is clean and professional. The students are amazing as well as welcoming and their enthusiasm and laughter is what makes my job such a pleasure to do. I Can't imagine my life without Pole Nouveau!

Jade Farmer

I joined Pole Nouveau a few months after it had started and with no intention of instructing.

I began classes once a week, every class I enjoyed and always felt a good buzz afterwards. I couldn't wait for the next weeks lesson to come, so I could feel that same buzz. This is when I began to realise I wanted more from pole fitness.
To share my passion with others, helping them achieve their own personal goals and targets whether it be perfecting that spin or invert or building strength.
From my own experience of feeling and seeing the difference in strength, control and fitness all at the same time as having fun, is the reason I am so passionate about training with Pole Nouveau and sharing that experience with students.

I started pole fitness in April 2012 and it was one of the best decisions I ever made! I'm not usually very good with sticking at sport or exercise, but pole fitness is something that I still look forward to every single week and can never wait for my next class.

Pole fitness has no age, size or ability restrictions - everyone starts out exactly the same and the level of support from the other girls is amazing. Anyone unsure about whether they can do it just needs to ask my mum!

The absolute best thing about pole fitness is finally nailing that move that you have been working on for weeks; sometimes the moves that take you the longest to conquer are the most satisfying :)

I never imagined I would end up instructing, but I'm really excited about starting my instructor training and beginning my pole career at Pole Nouveau.

Demelza Kingsland

I started pole in November 2012, mainly as an escape from my household & motherhood duties for an hour!
I took to it instantly and discovered my new passion in life.

Gymnastics was a big part of my younger years growing up, so this is the next best thing to continue my ambition in fitness.

Pole has given me the drive and motivation to become a stronger, healthier and more challenged person and I want to share this passion with others.

I've completed my instructor training with X-pole and joined the team at pole Nouveau shortly after.

My aim now is to provide my students not only with a physical challenge and best pole techniques, but also a fun, friendly, social environment for our girls to let their hair down.

Lexi Kirkham

I joined Pole Nouveau as a student in the summer of 2013 and instantly fell in love! Pole was so much more than the gym, it was fun, it gave me confidence and the girls in the class all became good friends. My weekly class couldn't come around quick enough each week, I was hooked!!

In 2014 I had to take time away from the pole and it knocked my confidence, I really missed what Pole had given me each week. When I came back, something really clicked inside me with pole, and I found myself going more than once a week. I progressed quickly, and conquered some moves I had once shyed away from. This made me realise I wanted to do more with Pole, to instruct others and help them on their own pole journey, so in February 2015 I qualified as an Instructor and joined the Pole Nouveau team.

If you are wondering what Pole Fitness is all about, come down and find out! You'll have a giggle, learn something new and get fit! For me, there is no greater feeling of freedom than when I am on the pole! I'm looking forward to my future with Pole Nouveau, challenging students to reach their fitness goals, all whilst having fun!
